A lot of assumptions being thrown around in here.

He hasn't played well. Impossible to say otherwise. But 15 targets in two games means he's shown something in practice.

Trade value is at an all time low. Time to hold, and hope he can work it out. It's best for all of us if it does. Calling out the character and work ethic of a guy from behind a keyboard it is not really conducive to anything, especially when we truly don't have any facts here outside of his performance on the field.

I think you nailed it. This guy never thought he’d be an NFL player until his senior year. Now he’s a multi millionaire who cares more about commercials and Tik toks than football. Just doesn’t have priorities straight

Yea, he seems totally fine with what hes saying in the video.  I think all this spotlight and attention this offseason has made him think hes good with or without football, but that spotlight will fade real quick when he's no longer in the league.

He may have his priorities straight. If he’s happy doing what he’s doing, why risk permanent body or brain injury? It sucks for us, and we could and should have drafted someone else. Just more proof our scouting department needs serious overhaul.

The worst part is this has been during Dan's we only draft dawgs era.  Im not sure his eye for talent nor dawgs is that great.

This whole thing is dumb AF.

The org pushed for him. Morgan wanted him. Bryce Young's daddy wanted him.

If this guy is a bust heads need to roll.

They wanted his talent. The hustle, the grind, the want to, XL gotta bring that on his own. That’s our #2 WR by the way. You think your QB can be successful without 1?

Me either. He was right hand man with one of the worst GMs imo the NFL has ever seen. I still think Tepper, or his evaluation model/algorithm is heavily involved in our process somehow. If our top 3 work out we'll this year, I'm not sure that's a good thing for us long term, as least as far as Daddy Dave's involvement in our selection process.

Yes. Its not common for teams to have legit WR1 and WR2 spots. Not many teams have a Chase/Higgins or Hill/Waddle. It's usually WR1 and whoever stands out at WR2. Great QBs elevate the players around them. Great coaches realize when players aren't getting it done and put their ass on the bench and replace them with someone who will. It's not on the QB alone.

Absolutely this. And often the "great" #2 is only mediocre elsewhere.  It's worth noting a good #1 also elevates those players.  And imo TMac drawing coverage is going to have that effect.
