He had leggette wide open a post on that 3rd down...atleast i think that was XL. He just never even looked in that direction.  The ball should have been gone, no need to take a hit.

But this is the issue. We're once again moving the ball largely due to a historic perfomance by our RB. But late in the game is when you need to see your #1 pick step up and make a game changing play. Instead we see awful clock management throws into the dirt false starts and then wide misses to open receivers. Tired of celebrating just achieving the bare minimum.

I’ve been saying it, but he HAS to make the gimmes and start sprinkling in some of the extraordinary to be a real franchise QB.  I’m proud of him today.  He has made some of those really good plays.  But it’s the little things…  we should not have been in the position we were last drive.  We also should not have already burned through two timeouts.  
 

Just hoping he can prove us wrong this drive with a win.  This is his most impressive game to me since he’s been here.
