The lesson here is that we have had two blah games and have still won. That is a great sign. We would not have won those games the last several years.

But please tell me why that is a great sign?

When actual good teams win their blah games, it's great because it helps them in the standings and they know they're a better team than that, and they'll play better in the future.

Outside of the Falcons game, we haven't had a complete game all season long.  And outside of the Falcons, Dolphins, and Cowboys games, we haven't looked good on offense at all this year.

THAT is why I don't understand how people can seriously say "that is a great sign" when we're 6 for 9 in putting up dud offensive performances.

Again, if your ONLY goal is to be considered in the playoff hunt, then sure, great win.  But if you want to actually see improvement on the field, then I have no idea what you watched today, because there was none other than Canales not forcing Hubbard into the game.

So, point out extremely valid points with a question for a response and this is your answer.

Basically saying I'm correct and that you're going to stick your head in the sand about all the issues we still show week in and week out because we got a W in the standings.

I'll bet you'll be the first person complaining about how bad we looked the next time we get our asses kicked when we play this exact same way.

We won, the game is over.

Now tell me how squeaking out a win where we looked like crap in most aspects of the game helps us moving forward?

If this was Miami or Tennesee, I would agree with you(and did after we had to come back against the Phins)

But Green Bay is considered one of the best teams in the league, and on paper more talented than us by a mile, squeaking out a win against a superior opponent is cause for celebration, no matter the stats

They definitely aren't among the top 10 in their professions, but I really don't think our major problems on this team are due to Canales and Evero. These guys would have us in solid position to compete for a playoff spot if they had just a little more talent on the roster.

Canales needs a viable QB and Evero needs a ball hawking safety, a thumper at LB, and one more pass rusher.

You don’t know why it is a great sign? Think about it. Winning vs losing. Losing is a mindset and a culture. A losing culture loses those games. Winning is a mindset and a culture. The last obstacle for losers is not losing those games.
This isn’t hard.

100%

However, I don't see today as a game "we won" as much as one "the Packers lost", disagree if you want, but outside of us actually getting the win, I'm not sure how anyone can watch that game today and say we played better than they did.

Final stats.  Dowdle had 28 more yards, a tenth more per average and 2 tuddys to Bryce's goose egg.  Oh, let's not forget zero turnovers to Bryce's 1. When the RB is stat dunking all over our supposed franchise QB, there needs to be a change.
