Correct. No defending that

So hitting the receiver on a redzone slant in the chest near the back shoulder with a trailing DB is a catch that must always be made? Did you want receivers to stop on a dime on a slant with a trailing DB and do a pirouette? A slant is not a comeback route. When a QB makes that throw behind a slant, be glad the receiver kept the DB from getting an INT

Tmac is supposed to be our Evans.  And Evans makes that catch.  Tmac still just a rookie but eventually we should expect him to make those hard catches to help out.

He will get it figured out. Just a bit soft now learning the NFL game. He’s gonna be great for us eventually

Can’t watch the game. Is dumb ass fave getting pass happy again?

No. Saints had the ball for like 11 minutes straight, so hard to be pass happy when you have no ball for damn near a whole quarter.

Probably could have run a little more on the last drive though.

Literally punching the ball the second it hits his hands and then uses his arm to push down T-Mac's hand as he's trying to re-adjust to catch it on the bobble.

It was 100% an excellent breakup by the DB and literally a 0% drop by T-Mac.

If you want to blame a Panther on that play, you have to blame Bryce for throwing it behind T-Mac instead of ahead of him.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
