No MATTER WHAT HAPPENS TWO WEEKS FROM NOW.... this season is a WIN in my books

Nah, if we lose then the season was a failure because all it took to win the division was beating the Saints once and we couldn't do it. That's a pretty big failure.

Teams go from bad to good all the time... going from bad to mediocre isn't a successful season in my books

I mean idk how many people thought we would get to 8 wins, let alone have the chance to get to 9, 10 wins.

I wasn’t thinking 8+. I’m still critical of our GM, DC and QB but we’ve won big games and we’ve got a good chance at the playoffs. Way more than expected but just my pet peeve that I still get annoyed like we are all set and all’s good. The AFC North is the only other division where we’d be close (1 game back) and we needed Tampa to fall apart (1-6) to get in this win the division chance in week 18.

Job isn’t close to done and the current crew needs to improve a lot to get us to SB contender.

If we don't make it to the playoffs, it will be hard for me to call this season a win.

My son and I had great seats for the Bryce scramble/Sanders TD and the game ending interception. It was awesome but damn it if the loss to NO didn’t hit harder knowing we would have clinched at the game.

I too watched the game with my son. We had an absolute blast. I think I may have fractured my thumb along with losing my voice during the game. It was all worth it. I just got home actually. Best Christmas gift I have had in years.

To be playing a meaningful game on the final game of the season is definitely a win.  I think our goal this season was to be competitive each game.  While we got blown out a few times we also beat some of the best teams in the league.

We're home this week and if our fans come out and really get after the Seahawks our Panthers are going to be so hyped up, we're going to break the see-saw season.

People have different standards. For me this season isn’t a win unless we win the division and make the playoffs. Because if we don't it will be largely because we couldn't split with the Saints and that is to me an embarrassing failure considering the state of the division.

Win the next two games and erase all doubt.

I look at it like, you have to go back to 2017 pre Tepper to have more wins than Canales gets as HC. Rivera had 11 in 2017, slipped to 7 in 2018, and we know the rest.

That is kind of a big deal to me.

We are ahead of where I expected, position wise, even if it is due to TB folding in the second half of the year. Bottom line, we are assured of playing for the division title on the last day of the season. I don’t ask for more, on a year to year big picture basis. Give me that every year for the floor - I won’t revolt.

I don’t know if it’s really a win any more than getting playoff game will be a win, unless they actually win it, but I would say we have had a positive year, exceeded most expectations.

please follow the current boring rule about one week at a time, when whatever the off-season happens it will last for months, plenty of time to post about the season then.

Last week there was fuging people posting about playoffs being a lock- ONE WEEK AT A TIME.

For the first time since the 2018 playoffs panthers are in the hunt/race, bonus is leading the NFC south.

Off-season has plenty of dead periods to suck each other off.....
