Should Trevin Wallace ever start for us again? In my opinion the defense got better through addition by subtraction

He's a great backup...which is hopefully where he'll be in 2026. 

Unfortunately, I think the staff sees more in him than everyone else. Hope I'm wrong and Morgan upgrades the position, but he seems like an Evero guy despite the fact better LBs were on the board including Dan Morgan's clone.

2026 draft will have a lot of solid linebackers. I think one will slide to us. We are sorely missing that star MLB we always had with Morgan, Beason and Luke

Agree. First round LB, free agent pass rusher, another DT in the later rounds would have this team cooking.

Who was that? I am not seeing great ILB value around the Wallace pick.  We should be able to get one of Sony Styles (OSU), CJ Allen (UGA), or Anthony Hill (UT) with our first pick, with the dream scenario of Arvel Reese somehow dropping to us.   The Giants Raiders tankathon should be interesting to watch. Lose that and the Giants can trade the no. 1 for a ransom.

I think Wallace can be a great “Robin” to someone’s “Batman”. Pair him with Sonny Styles and let Styles wear the dot. I think Wallace can be a great partner, just not the dominant alpha we sorely need.

Payton Wilson. Won the Butkus and the Bednarik. Probably a 1st rounder if not for the medicals, but we didn't want to roll the dice I guess.

I was gonna post a similar opinion. He might work as a sidekick to a better player. But he is isn’t that player. 
People learn and develop at different paces or rates and he still could drastically improve, but if he is what he has shown so far, nope.

The more I’m watching YT vids of these LBs, two things are coming into focus for me.

1 - Sonny Styles will rip the combine up and crack the top-10….unfortunate that he won’t be a Panther without us moving up. 

2 - Anthony Hill Jr. is LB3 for me and someone I’d like to see in Process Blue. I’ve seen a few UT fans mentioning him in the same breath as a step just below Derrick Johnson. 

I really hope we to LB or Sadiq with our R1 pick.

Sonny styles and Anthony hill would be awesome picks rd 1 and 2.  Maybe get th3 Oregon safety thinemen in the 3rd.  We do need quality oline as well

I feel Wallace is still developing.  His motor is fantastic.   

I agree, that we need to add talent at the linebacker position.. 

Still so many needs to fill.

Hoping different draft picks will automatically be better is fools gold.

Realistically we sign one or draft a complement to Wallace.
