Ravens Harbaugh Fired

Ravens job should be super interesting - one of the better open slots in forever.

Jesse Minter - but he may not have good enough pull for offensive mind

Stefanski - I could see it but think he's got a good opp with NYG

Chris Shula - All the rage in league circles for good reason

Anthony Weaver - familiarity but maybe a bit too close of ties

Honestly that was my thought earlier today. Pull off a Rams/Lions trade. Bryce plus a first for Lamar. Honestly it's a win for both teams. Fresh scenery for Lamar, Baltimore gets a younger QB with arguably a ceiling he hasn't reached yet, and Bryce moves into a situation that's set up perfectly for him to succeed (if that's remotely possible).

lol

Given that the only real attractive open position is Baltimore, I question whether Harbaugh is likely to take any of the currently open positions. I know people point to the Giants but that isn't a good franchise and it's not built on as solid of a ground with that roster as pundits keep seeming to indicate.

I saw a quote on ESPN saying his agent(I know) claimed that 7 NFL teams had called to inquire about him. That means that at least a couple of teams with no position open asked about him. Don't be surprised to see someone like Dallas possibly make a run.

Apparently rumors are Lamar Jackson has been unhappy with Harbaugh and the staff overall. I've largely been rather indifferent to Lamar but I don't see why he has that kind of organizational pull considering he can't even get over the playoff hump. If he continues to fail to move forward in the playoffs or fails to make the playoffs at all with a new staff he only has himself to blame. Regardless he is now putting the pressure squarely on his own shoulders. Good luck bud.

I can picture the average Ravens fan now, seeing their coach fired in favor of the QB. Then seeing their MVP QB traded for Bryce effing Young.

What could they have possibly done to deserve that?

When Tepper bought the Panthers we all expected his wealth to be an advanatage because he could basically buy any coach or GM.  As we all know, it hasn't gone this way and if Tepper was smart, he'd give Harbaugh or Tomlin whatever they want to come here because these types of coaches would instantly change the culture.
