I think he could get another head coaching gig with all the openings

Yeah, I mean the guy did have Tua leading the league in passing just a couple of years ago. I could see him potentially getting another HC opportunity. If not, he'll probably be the hottest OC candidate on the market.

I don’t think he gets a HC gig this time around. Maybe TEN w/ Ward at QB, but I think the recent Miami debacle and his non-traditional personality are not a fit for all teams.

As an OC, absolutely.

As someone else pointed out, if he does try to rebuild his brand, I think Detroit or WAS make sense. Carolina’s and another undersized Bama QB would not be his best option….nor his choice I would imagine.

Yeah, I don't think he'd want to have another go with Temu Tua in Bryce.

Came in to post the exact same sentiment. If Sleepy dwarf gets you poo canned, you don't probably don't want to work with Happy dwarf either.

I mean, Lamar is coachless. That would be crazy the teams just swapped.

I think McDaniels says some strange poo for a football coach. Being an assistent behind the scenes might be his happy place.

I guess if I were making any decisions I would talk to people that played for him and see what it was like for them.

Going from Tua to Young would be a real kick in the nuts. I think he would choose retirement over that scenario.

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
