Not sure why either of those would be that surprising. I've only been to a handful of games in the decade or so since I moved from Raleigh and have ran into a players' dad drinking in the tailgate lot damn near every time. (Shoutout to Papa Martinook da GOAT) As far as Shane, dude is puffy and bleary-eyed damn near every broadcast. And, it was a very poorly kept secret that our longest tenured media member was tying one on prior to games for years without anyone intervening. I wouldn't be surprised at all. -
