Build in the TRENCHES!! LT, DL, and CENTER, first 3 picks and I don't care what order.

They will have their choice between a LT, DT, S and Edge/OLB at 19. They will not take a WR or TE in round 1.

Last year all our picks were around their PFF number or values until Horn. Like it or not,  that worked out.  Looking at their 3/4 board, possible indications at 19:

12 Fano, T, Utah

13 Freeling, T, Georgia

16 Ioane, G, Penn State

18 Banks, DI, Florida

19 Allen, LB, Georgia

21 Mesidor, Edge, Miami

23 Faulk, Edge, Auburn

25 Miller,  T, Clemson

We sign a LB then we ignore it? After we've had a terrible lineback group since Luke left. CJ with Devin Lloyd would be excellent. I prefer to take a LT in the first and an Anthony Hill Jr or Jacob Rodriguez in the second. By no means is LB finished or fixed

I mean, I get what you're saying, and if LB is the BPA, so be it (I won't be mad with one in the first or second). But, it's not like we haven't addressed the position---maybe not the green dot or the mic per se, but the position nonetheless. We have to let some of these guys develop.

No he's not. He's just an athletic freak. His production is pedestrian. Production trumps muscles.

Not arguing the production.

Pretty much the big 3 has him in the top 15

NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah has him as the #13 Prospect

ESPN.com Best Available has him as #14

PFF Big Board has him as #14

If Mesidor is there I’m taking him, I would still go pass rusher, our pass rush was awful last season one guy isn’t changing that.

We need to sign a small shifty veteran WR, Metchie would be a decent get

lol I called it

In this scenario I think it’s clear you take OT Proctor, OT Lomu, DT Banks, LB Allen, or LB Rodriguez in the first. No idea what the fug they were going on about in the video. We aren’t taking a WR, if we draft Miller, a RT only, I will shoot through my TV.

Jacob Rodz doesn’t last past pick 40.

He is projected day 2 or 3. First round is much too rich. He is undersized.

He may jump CJ Allen. Wherever you think CJ Allen’s range is….that’s JRodz range no matter what the “experts” say. They are the same size. One has way better stats, waiting on CJ to run.

Banks feels like a Morgan pick

    • Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.
    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
