Bucs don't need an upgrade from Mike Glennon by Pat Yasinskas

Glennon was not all world but he is not someone you want to give up on either.  Team did better down the stretch given the issues they seemed to be having (e.g. dumping the starter, freak HC, Ebola Virus)

I am a bit partial because I went to State but think he has a huge upside.  Was limited to one year of college playing time and would not have even gotten the chance had the other guy not been denied a spot on the roster because of his baseball interest.  (BTW that guy was Russell "he who now has a Superbowl Ring" Wilson)

Truthfully, I think Glennon is going to be a good QB. He had some issues as a rookie but I think he will be fine. Dude has an arm on him.

Agreed. Thought he was drafted too high coming out, but he impressed me this year considering the Bucs' circumstances. Not saying he's the saviour of Tampa, but I agree with Pat. Bucs should be fine

The bucs are going to spend that first pick of theirs on some blue chip defensive prospect so they can get that top ten defense they would've had anyway with Lovie while the offensive talent stagnates

In all seriousness, sounds like our 2013 season, top defense and stagnate offense.

I will go on record and admit, with Lovie/Leslie running the defense, that freaks me out a little. Their defense is already loaded with talent, and that one blue chip prospect (i.e. Star for us last year) could be all they need to be top 5.
