The times he didn't do well as a receiver he was being used absurdly. Bubble screen to Bersin? Come on. 

Put the guy in on third downs and send him over the middle. He runs great routes, has solid hands, and is willing to take a hit. Thats how he should be used and does well there.

Nice evaluation on our receiver core. I'm a little surprised by Boykin though...

It's going to be interesting watching final cuts. It's looking like KB13, Funchess and Brown are the only 'locks'. I see Ginn, Hill, Cotchery and Bersin fighting it out for 2 or 3 spots. I think Boykin ends up getting the Underwood treatment and being on the outs. I also believe the other Brown, Lucas and Presley getting cut, and hopefully Byrd can make it through to the PS and doesn't get Bellicheck'd on his way down. Any chance we roll with 6 WRs on the gameday roster?

Unless someone else steps up big time as a punt returner, Ginn is a lock.  This is no different than the first time we signed him.  He was signed as a punt returner first and a WR second with a little icing on the cake this time since we know he's produced well for us as a WR in a fairly limited role.
