Can anyone explain the 4th quarter collapse of our D ?

We couldn't get pressure on luck. Even with blitzes. I don't know if that's lack of execution, exhaustion, offensive holding..  Maybe a combination of all three.

I do think last night was a wake up call that you can't let off the gas in this league at all. In years past, no way we win that game

If this were the only time Luck led a comeback it might be a story but he does it every week it seems. This year they are losing instead of winning.  We won and in the end that is really all that matters, what we do in one game has no bearing on future games. The only thing that goes from week to another is whether you win or lose.

play the percentages. they colts were eventually going to move the ball, just so happened to happen only in one quarter. they somehow started pass protecting better.

Pass protecting ie. Holding on every down.

The refs in that last qt. let the Colts get away with murder. That's why our D looked like poo.

    • I may be way off base, let’s include this in that questions thread, but with the way the offensive staff turned on each other in 2023 I am happy to see anyone involved, gone. I had a bad feeling about Caldwell over it.
    • No poo tho you might could Jenkins for Legette. They got nothing at WR after the big 2 in Cincy. I don’t think you trade away OL depth. Could get a quality player in cuts. Really that 3-4 end spot what you should be looking for is someone who is stout with long arms and can push back the OL in both the run and pass game for others to make plays…. But we signed Wharton, sometimes I think Evero is a fraud ass nerd who should be an analyst at best.
    • you would honestly probably do Monroe Freeling more of a disservice by putting him in a position where is not yet ready to succeed. .we all knew Monroe Freeling struggled at the NFL combine in drills because of technique related issues & would need time to develop  & now all of a sudden before they even put the pads on Monroe Freeling is somehow a starting LT in the NFL ? if he struggled at the NFL scouting combine what do you actually think is going to happen in a live NFL game at LT ? .even our best LT of all time was not ready to start at LT when he was a rookie & he turned out to be a pretty good darn LT by the name of Jordan Gross ...just saying be patient Young Jedis
