Jerry Richardson riot reaction was "damn near criminal"?

IDK, maybe JRich should be/is more than just a rich guy with an office downtown... There are countless instances of him using his power and money to effect positivity. Meanwhile we're stuck with poo like this....an elected NC congressman voices his views clearly: "They hate white people, because white people are successful and they're not".

Those kinds of articles are part of the downfall of civil discourse in our culture.

It's easy to make some click-bait title, rant wildly, hit the publish button and watch the clicks and ad revenue come in.  There is ZERO journalism with much of the internet press.  Many of them are jerks with keyboards and a wordpress blog.

As Panther fans we know JR and the Panthers organization.  I think TD and Olsen said it really well in their press conferences.  We're not Baltimore, we're Charlotte, NC.

So you make it look like JR called them criminal? Was it the writer that said it?

Yes.  Jerry said it.  And there is nothing "damn near" about it.  He showing restraint and was much to kind.  Peaceful protest is one thing, but once you pick up a rock and throw it you've crossed the line to criminal.  Rioting is criminal.

    • D Carr must have really disliked the saints to wait and do this announcement after the draft has passed if he made this call a few weeks before the draft sure they would have approached it and the offseason differently.  oh well will be interesting to see how their qbs perform.  would love to see them roll with Thill and just make the whole offense towards his skillset.  Although sadly would be only playing in about half the games with how often he gets injured.
    • I have to say it's quite fascinating seeing you pivot from months and months of wailing and agonizing about threads derailing into Bryce Young slingfests only for you to turn around and do the same thing. And just for the record. Nobody in life ever attained wisdom and clarity from mistakes by having people blindly fawn over them and tell them they are above reproach and incapable of making mistakes. Our front office is just as human as we are. And based on the fact that front offices across the league outside of a handful of teams change on a fairly regular basis it's safe to say they are certainly no more infallible than the average Joe even though they possess significantly more knowledge usually. If you want a utopia where all you do is shine shoes for anyone associated with the Panthers you go right on ahead and create yourself a new community sir. More power to you.
    • I trust Morgan when it comes to LBs so I think Wallace will do well.
