Yea in Garbage time (4th qt) dump offs. Ran 10 times for 24 yards.

Did you watch the game?

Arizona has a much better QB, OL, and receivers Corp than LA.

I don't put tremendous stock in 1 game.  AZ always plays like garbage traveling to the east coast (did earlier this year too)and was coming off a brutal game vs off a fresh bye team.   A win is a win, though...no doubt.  But we haven't resembled that at all so I wouldn't expect that to be the new standard yet.

this game we will be traveling to the opposite coast and playing a team off a bye.  That SHOULD in theory give the Rams some edge vs something working against them like AZ had.  Rams have pretty much hung with anyone they played outside the week 1 game.  Should be a tough/physical game.

Still don't endorse a 2-5 team's backup talking poo about the 1 opposing stud as they travel cross country to play a well rested physical team

Horton sounds like an idiot.

Gurley is one of most talented backs this side of Adrian Peterson. He just so happens to be on a JV Rams offense.

Exactly, Horton is on a team that has managed a whopping two wins so far this season.

He would do better to focus on improving himself as a football player and less time providing bulletin board material for the opposition.

It might have been not so smart but I don't understand the way some treat our players.  When he has played the line has generally looked good regardless of him being borderline on the roster. he is a Panther and I want him to play well.

I'm not a fan of trash talk, but would people rather he say " Yeah, we suck and we're probably gonna lose"?

Well the one hour shift back this weekend will help tremendously for our players to get an extra hour of rest, and not be too far behind in jet lag.

However, I believe our AZ game showed some promise in the way we switched up some stuff. Will we absolute dominate again? I doubt it will be to AZ extent, but we should expect our front seven to do what it did last year from the potential I'm seeing, and our secondary to do fine.

What I like seeing is our players getting aggressive again. We need a bit of swag now with how dismal everything looks.

lmao

not every player is steve smith and goes from playing at 80% to 120% when somebody starts trash talking

This.

I actually feel like he was talking us up more than putting him down.

He was saying with our talent if we stay disciplined, he shouldn't go long on us.

poo like this is why Marshawn Lynch stopped answering questions.

That is part of the reason. The other part was that every person he has ever known told him to shut his mouth. The dude was a bad interview. He could be clever one minute, and way out in left field the next.

    • I'm really not stressing about upgrading from Bryce. I'm frustrated with our inability (or refusal) to recognize overall bad QB performance and failure to seriously address the issue. QB is the most impactful position on the field, and we're not only settling for what we've been given to this point, but we've rewarded it with a fully guaranteed 5th year extension for a player that's never played 2 NFL franchise QB quality games back to back in 3 seasons. I can't understand how that's ok from a coach's or GM's viewpoint. Successful franchises don't do things like this. It just doesn't make sense.  We do not have a top half of the league QB right now. Since we don't have that player, we should be looking for him. Pickett isn't it. Grier isn't it. Bryce hasn't proven he is yet. Until you have that sure fire franchise QB, you keep looking. You're not consistently making the playoffs, a deep run, or a SB appearance without one.  What's the worst that could happen? We end up with 2 potential number 1 QBs? How horrible.
    • Easy to understand Pickett, if this is anywhere close to on point. Canales wants to get as close to Bryce as he can- get the pace and timing in the throws as close a he can to Bryce. So the other players don’t have to adjust so much, to a new guy.       If Cam was the 1, he would look for a rocket arm.  But Bryce is the 1. Look for limited in the same way.  Low velocity, plenty of air under it, feels just like home when Picket comes in. And you have the guys on the second team not having such a radical adjustment (if they have to play) like with Dalton to Bryce.    Enter Grier. I guess we will collect those types.
    • Best part is if we draft him, we can also use him as our fourth and one QB sneaker
