I have no idea why people are making snarky comments about the starting safeties. Griffin is  former pro bowler and 2ND team All Pro with many years of starting. Nothing there to LOL.

If you want to complain I'd start with playing our G at tackle instead of the backup tackles on the  roster. why have them if they can't back up?

If Butler's ankle is not gonna be 100% until after the season why not IR him now and let him start rehabbing earlier? Especially if it requires surgery.

There is nothing to suggest his sprained ankle requires surgery and he doesn't need to be on IR to rehab or get treatment.

Would really like to see Byrd out there. I think Cam is better with speed guys than just big guys. He doesn't seem very willing to throw jump balls to targets with no separation and this line can't provide 4-5 seconds of protection for KB to get open. I'd seriously consider giving Byrd some reps and targets. He has the kind of speed that can jump start an offense.

The typical time to throw in the NFL  is less than 3 seconds I believe and the top qbs of recent memory all do their damage in the quicker end of the spectrum. Longer than 3.5 seconds is the realm of the younger qbs and the scramblers.  4 to 5 seconds is freaky broken play with qb running around in the backfield. 4 to 5 seconds does not represent a good play.
