What do we do about Ted Ginn this offseason

Lol at those thinking we should get rid of GInn, he's the most dangerous offensive weapon we have. Funchess has had the drops, and KB is a possession receiver.

I'd like to see Byrd get a chance to play, I think he can bring what Ted does.

Game day WRs IMO-

KB/Ginn/Funch/Byrd/Brown

No need for Joe Webb to EVER be active.

He's more than just a speed guy now, as his route running is probably the best on the team IMO. He probably won't demand much, 2-4 per year. And It would be foolish to let our number 1 target go for a contract like that.

Agree.  We've seen that it is not always easy for WRs to develop chemistry with Cam.  Cam & Ted have it.  Don't mess with it unless we need to and there is a CLEAR & PROVEN replacement for what Ted Ginn brings to our offense.

One more thing to add:

Just the threat that Ginn could catch it and run it all the way is a nightmare for any defensive coordinator in this league. You cannot replace this dimension of our offense so easily and I don't want to see it go away. When the biggest problem is that Ginn doesn't catch every deep bomb and score, that's a good problem to have.

He's still better than Funchess, but that isn't saying much.

Ginn is way to inconsistent for my liking, I would love to bring in Desean Jackson but I doubt it happens.

he has been a good play maker for us why not upgrade one of the other WR's ... I say keep him...

Its not a matter of keeping or cutting him.  He's a free agent.

He made 2.8 million this year.  He's had two pretty good years so someone might offer him a raise to 3.0 million or so.  We might be able to get him for that, but who knows.

Or we can draft a speedy WR in round 3-4 for about 700k per year for 4 years and chances are his hands will not be oak.

Tough call.

Keep him , Bring in Deshaun Jackson, Trade Kelvin for an extra 1st rounder, get Leonard Fournette and Jabrill Peppers in round 1 :P . Suddenly we are unstoppable. The Panthers will never do it because homerism and conservatism but this is entirely in the realm of possibility, if they really wanted to do it they could make it happen.

I like your thought process but there is no way in hell KB brings a 1st round pick much less a pick high enough to pull Peppers or Fournette.

That is unless Fournette gets hurt in their bowl game...
