I know he made a couple of plays Mon night.  Those of you who have had a chance to look more closely at film....has he improved? Is he a keeper?  Just curious.

I'll say this... If he had the natural gifted talent and athleticism of a guy like Ealy or KB, he'd be a perennial pro bowler at DE. And if Ealy or KB had Ryan's drive and motivation, they'd be perennial pro bowlers at their respective positions.

 

I really like the guy and he's the type of guy you want to see on the field, but he really doesn't have NFL talent unfortunately.

From what I can gather, the coaches love him because of his work ethic.... I'm guessing they are just hoping he can put it all together. 

For me, his run support at the moment is too much of a liability for him to be consideted full-time starter material. Good guy...ok depth I guess but replaceable IMO.

I believe he will grow into something.  Takes a little more time for some than others.  He has some pretty darn good flashes.  He has some screw-ups too.  I'd keep him around a little longer to see if he develops.

he's only in his second year I'd give him another offseason and see what happens

the effort is certainly there but he lacks elite pass rush moves. he's got a decent spin move though.

I hope his knees are not deteriorating. this will be his 9th game out with a knee injury this season. Really hope its nothing serious.
