Do you believe Cam can return to MVP form?

As soon as I saw that, I knew we were straight.. Damn that was a fun year except for the end...

Everytime i see that gif..it also reminds me of jake his first year. I remember the camera panning the sideline after the other team score (redskins?) and jake had this same look. Cam will be fine moving forward, this season was just a big mess and we will be back better than ever

Cam just needs a break..much pressure was brought to him 2016. Look at all that went wrong..Y would anyone think the record would be better..especially when the injuries set in...Alot of disappointments happem to Cam and the team..Maybe with everyone healthy and rejuvenated . But I must say the playcalling  and play design has to get better or will be having the same convo next yr.  With Cam playing as bad as he did we were in all games to win except maybe 3 ..Playcalling hurt us in majority of the games...better situational awareness...These coaches got to get their heads out of their ases.

Cam is a gamechanger we will always have a chance as long as we have a decent defense.

If you can be an MVP once, you can be MVP once again.

As for Cam's support, the team is not so different than the '15 team, and we'll only get better in the near future. It won't take much as far as additional personnel goes, because two or three people can have a profound impact upon the offense. That, along with just being healthy, will do wonders for the success of the team. Add in another two or three in addition to that for depth, and Cam can play happy once again.

Speaking of happy, Cam is going to have to readjust his attitude. The time off, and a commitment---as well as action---from Gettleman to get him some support, may just cause a natural positive progression without any effort or focus on Cam's part at all in regards to his outlook. Where Cam will need to put extra effort and focus into is his personal improvement in regards to his mechanics and decision making. But for an ex-MVP, that shouldn't be a problem.

Yea, that year was so much fun. I knew our defense would come up with a turnover when needed and I knew if the game was on the line, and Cam & the offense had the ball, we were going to win.

To answer the question, though.. Yes, he can and will return to MVP form. I remember saying after the Denver game and all the other controversies that were going on that Cam wasn't going to have a good year. It just never felt right. He'll bounce back this season

Well if you're a real Panthers fan you have to believe he will.

Of course we have various losers here that feel oddly empowered when he fails, but for the most part I think fans know enough about Newton as a competitor to know he will put the work in to improve from here.

Beyond that, we also as an organization have to make a serious effort in the offseason to push this roster over the hump via draft, and free agency. There can be no excuses for complacency.

Not without him being willing to use his legs to run the ball.

If he gets healthy and gets back to chewing off chunks of yards with his legs, he will definitely be back.

I don't think he ever comes close to those numbers again if he is going to morph into a prototypical pocket passer. It just isn't who he is.

Yes. He had a bad season. Almost everything that could go wrong, did. I think 2016, year he only scratched the surface of what he can do. I've said before, but this year almost HAD to happen for him and the organization. Cam had to go through this and he handled it well. He'll be back. I also agree that there is no such thing as a fluke MVP winner. I still put it all on Ace Boogie.
