Take Jerry out of the middle of those panthers and put Sam mills statue in his place.

KEEP IT.  No matter what anyone thinks the Panthers exist because of the undying effortsby this man to make the Carolina Panthers a reality.  If they make a new Stadium the statue should be moved there. 

Whether you like JR or not.  He is the sole reason we have our beloved Panthers to cheer for.

I voted remove, but I've always thought the statues were lame ..... pretending we had history at a time when we really didn't.

Does it even matter? Nobody talks about us anyway. UNC-Asheville & UNC-Wilmington are more relevant than UNCC.

The Panthers shouldn't completely turn their back on their founder. Richardson did a lot of good for the city of Charlotte and the Carolinas. But I think a statue is inappropriate. The team itself is his legacy, he doesn't need a statue.

BS. Third largest school in the state. UNCA's slightly better academically but Wilmington isn't. All good schools. Only reason we aren't more relevant is because everyone understandably assumes we're some branch of Chapel Hill and we measure schools by their sports programs here.

Relevant athletically. Our hoops program has been garbage for a dozen years. UNCW and UNCA have both made multiple trips to the NCAA tourney in that time. Davidson laughs at us.
