Just have to keep our fingers crossed.  Of course, losing your starting qb for any significant length of time is usually a death knell for a team's season anyway.  Of course, as philly proved, there are exceptions.

I'd feel more comfortable with a vet with experience behind Cam, but Gilbert looked like the best QB not named Cam last offseason so I guess we'll see. 

Hope we don't have to use him or anyone else though.

This. There isn’t a Nick Foles level backup available and even if there was we couldn’t afford him. Might as well roll cheap and try to develop a young guy. There isn’t an affordable alternative available.
