Olsen owns Cowherd on Cam

That’s my TE

I still don’t think he went in hard enough though. He should have said that the check downs and easy throws are there this year. He doesn’t have to consistently make an incredible 3rd and long throw anymore. That effects his stats too on top of guys dropping the ball. It doesn’t mean he’s miraculously better than he was last year. It’s just a reflection of the system. Cams been the real deal for a long time. Fug Colin

Eh.. Cowherd has said much worse things than in this video.  It didn’t even seem like he 100% dissed Cam, he even said “has this just always been Cam, and he just finally got the coordinator?”. Or something like that.

Good on Olsen for responding in a way that doesn’t disrespect Cam or Shula.

Colin Cowherd is reality TV guys. The sooner you stop viewing, clicking, retweeting - the sooner he goes away. Stop consuming and he'll stop being an idiot.

Yep.

Skip Bayless is in the same boat. These guys don’t even believe the sh!t they’re saying half the time but it stirs the pot and people react. People react, they get views/clicks and they get paid.

Can’t get mad at these guys for making a very good living off of the stupidity of others.

Maybe I was expecting something more since it was Cowherd but that just sounded like a level headed football discussion on both their parts.

I copied it from a tweet on my feed, do not actually listen to him but I heard Olsen's comment about "good to hear you say nice things about Cam" as the underhanded compliment  aimed at Cowherds well known constant criticism of Cam.

The fact that Greg came off so smooth and confident is another example of what a great improvement he will be over Witten

    • And really, it should be 4 reasons with the last one being that there were ZERO other offensive weapons on that team in 2024, opposing defenses only had to worry about one player all year long and they constantly double and triple teamed him right off the snap all season.  In 2023, we still had Jacob Cowing who had 90 catches that year and was drafted by the 49ers last year, so teams couldn't just send everyone after T-Mac on every passing down.
    • I wonder if the Hornets view Kon and McNeeley more as forwards and plan to ship off Green/Okogie/Smith for center help. I hope they don’t plan to ship off Sexton as I like what he brings to the team. (2) G - Ball, Mann, Simpson (two-way) (3) G - Sexton, Dinwiddie, Connaughton (3) F - Miller, Knueppel, McNeeley, James (two-way) (3) F - Bridges, Williams, Salaun (3) C - Diabate, Kalkbrenner, Plumlee
    • 3 main reasons he was better in 2023 and none of them concern me for his NFL prospects 1. Totally new coaching staff that was a massive downgrade and had god awful play calling and designs, the entire fan base was ready to run the coaching staff out of town a month into their first season and the play caller ended up getting changed because it was so bad. 2. Along with the staff downgrade, his QB played significantly worse after being the Pac 12 Freshman of the Year in 2023.  Constantly missed T-Mac when he was wide open, lost out on a number of TDs and a good amount of yardage, half the time T-Mac still almost made miraculous catches on the bad passes too. 3. He hurt his ankle over the summer and missed all of fall camp only to return to practice a few days before the season started and I think he had to deal with it all season long and was slightly limping at times mid season too, but kept fighting through it to still be a 1st team All American.
