At the end of the day , the D only gave up 17 points which is not bad definitely in this era of football

The Eagles Rivera'd themselves. They went away from what was working in an effort to "protect" their lead. Wentz was having a near perfect day and had all day to throw. They started running the ball more. They were killing is with pressure, they started rushing four and dropping into coverage. We won, but the Eagles going conservative gave us that opportunity.

Our LBs have looked lost in coverage this year. Remember when Luke was getting all those interceptions?

We lost to the Skins but TD and Luke were amazing in coverage that game. Today was seriously bad with Ertz but I think there's still promise there.

Donte Jackson is promising. Very excited about him. Although, there is not a reason to throw away from yet at this point in his career. The Atlanta game showed that.

That was his second game he's made big strides in a very short time. He's not at that point in his career I agree but he's a problem being his qbr reflects it's not a good choice to throw his way.

I think it had more to do with Jeffrey being healthy and being a top notch WR who can dominate any game.

Not bad, what that's grade A I thought. Keep any team to 17 or under and we should win isn't that our team goal.

Not really.  They actually started running the ball less.  After our first td, the Eagles ran 9 consecutive pass plays.  Six on their first series after our first td, made one first down and then had to punt, then three more passes after our second td, with a three and out.  Their only run of the entire 4th qtr was in the red zone on the last drive.

Edited to add, during that series of 9 consecutive passes, Kuechly had a sack and two tackles behind the line of scrimmage after the pass was caught.  He had probably his best game of the year.  Definitely his best qtr of the year.

They were obviously avoiding Jackson, mentioned it in the Game day thread. Yet they still throw at Bradberry.

At least we have one good corner.

They weren't really avoiding Jackson as much as they were throwing to Jeffrey.  Bradberry was covering Jeffrey, who is far and away their best receiver.
