Please don’t bang your chairs on 3rd down

Encounters and incidents of this nature are but one of the reasons I don't mind watching from the comforts of home.

For most of you newbs, this fan involvement was the norm until about 2013 or so, when the so-called fan code of conduct showed up and began encouraging people to text or call simply because they didn't like the way someone was acting.

It's never a big deal until it's your $8 beer. Using your seat to make noise is fine. Trying to rip your seat off of its hinges for the entire game is annoying as fug. Also, never trust a sports radio anecdote for accuracy.

Meh. If he cared enough about his beer let alone Carolina football he would have been standing, beer in hand, and kicking the seat behind him as well. This all could have been avoided.

So I get probably the best club seats in all of BOA.

Over the years, there is an old guy that sits beside me and he gets so pissed if I cheer too loud or stand.

Im an adult so I handle it without violence, and try to explain that’s what you do on Defense at NFL games. He almost always leaves the game at the start of the 4th quarter regardless of the game. The only time it got out of hand was when I was jumping up and down celebrating the 2015(?) MNF win against the Pats. He said that I “swung” at him to the people around us. No one really gave a poo, and I left just after he started to try to get me kicked out (game was over anyway).

Well.. never thought about how the banging on the chair can spill the beer out of the cup holder behind me, I have never had that complaint yet.... I am to busy swatting away the hand tapping my shoulder from the people behind cause I am standing up :Taco_Emoji_42x42:.  I have had security called on me for that (and I don't stand all the time, maybe 20% of the entire game if that).  Once was pulled out of my seat with the person behind me ... thankfully it ended up being the guards telling that guy to leave me alone ;-)  cause he wouldn't stop harassing me.  Security simply tells me to be respectful, which I am and the guards around me know that so why they usually take my side when someone calls them on me.

My problem with this is if it is on offense

we had this 40: year old man two rows down and to the left of me. He stood the whole game.

He also had a ridiculous sign he made for the game and mind you its section 342, no one can see it and it blocked a qtr of the field for those in back of him

clueless. Want to stand for defense, be my guest but sit your ass down on offense

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
