He's healthy he's just riding that excuse to easy money. He was on track to heal while on IR and there was never any indication that he didn't or that he was even behind schedule. It would be less embarrassing for everyone involved if he actually was just injury riddled, management would have made that public if it was the case.

Sam Bradford is the king of fleecing teams. It all started with being the last QB draft 1st overall in the old nfl draft rules. I believe hes pocketed around 150 million in total. Matt Stafford is another, highest paid QB for a long period and had one of those insane QB rookie contracts too.

If you look at the contract, it's a  much smaller contract, with 2 mil in bonuses for being active on game day [hah] His 3.25 mil salary drops to 1.5 mil if he's put on IR. Still too much money for him, but not as bad as it seems.

Also tells you how desperate teams are for Oline help.
