IMO this kid has a good shot at making this team..

Really Good size for a ILB in a 3/4.. play speed looks faster than 40' on video..

His senior year numbers are really good and he was a starter most his career.. I don't understand how he didn't get invited to the combine.

Jmo perfect size and speed for MLB in a 3/4 playing besides Kuechly...

Ron's school loyalty might have paid off with this kid.

Is this him? The 2019 UDFA future HOF Panthers franchise savior?

There's one every year.

Yeah because we didnt turn Andrew Norwell from a UDFA into an All-Pro or anything.  They should just give up on undrafted guys, they never make it....

I see a fringe player--no Luke.  Hope he proves me wrong.   He tips off the blitz, he is a bit slow from sideline to sideline (less important as a 3-4 ILB), and he takes a false step once in a while.  I think RR watches all the Cal games and he once drafted a 7th rounder from Cal based on that, so they said.  (DJ Campbell).

Want to evaluate a draft?   Check out 2017.

  • Christian McAffrey  (Pro Bowl caliber back)
  • Curtis Samuel (solid starting slot with game breaking potential)
  • Taylor Moton (starting OL for the next 10 years-smart)
  • Daeshon Hall (THE ONLY BUST---He was a need pick and we reached--why you do not reach;  On Eagles roster)
  • Corn Elder (Still on roster, competing for nickel job, special teams)
  • Alex Armah (Starting fullback, improving every year)
  • Harrison Butker (kicks for KC)

THAT is a good draft.

Will be interesting as the current room seems a bit crowded with Luke, Shaq, Carter Jr, Smith, and Norris being the incumbents (while adding Irvin and possibly Miller to the mix at SLB). I could see him surplanting Norris if the staff has seen all that they need to from him, barring that he's a heavy contributor on ST ofc (not to my knowledge, but someone else might be more aware of his contributions).
