There once was a Todd, who soured the bun

And then the old Steve, who took over the runs.

Some time past

And then a second Steve.

Feisty, short but mighty, and prying for a piece

And then a boy berthed, far in the lawn

He had a dad, who ingrained lively spawn.

And his dad was good.

And then came along Lucas.

And he was good.  Did as a Linebacker should've.

And then this man:

I'll just say DAYUM.

And that is the piece

A piece of my fart

TO forever and ever hold in your heart.

Love,

Saxy

I will take a guess:

There once was a Todd, who soured the bun (Todd Sauerbrun) (FA signing)

And then the old Steve, who took over the runs. (Steven Davis) (FA signing)

Some time past

And then a second Steve. (Steve Smith) (not a FA signing so I am probably wrong)

Feisty, short but mighty, and prying for a piece

And then a boy berthed, far in the lawn

He had a dad, who ingrained lively spawn.

And his dad was good.

And then came along Lucas. (Ken Lucas) (FA Signing)

And he was good.  Did as a Linebacker should've.

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
