Will Grier is settling in nicely

Best day I have seen from Grier yet. Played with the 1's the entire practice. Plenty of solid passes with few misses. Showed a particular chemistry with CMC on the quick throws. Got a few "whoas" from.the sidelines. 

The Panthers would love for him to win the #2 spot and if today is any indication that is possible.

A drastic difference between today and rookie camp. Exactly what needs to happen .

Can’t be.  I heard that he once threw an interception in rookie minicamp and therefore won’t make it in the NFL.

It's sad that we can't be happy with a competent backup because of those few who are here that are just dying for Cam to make a mistake so they can hype up their guy.

Grier’s accuracy in short quick routes is supposed to be his strength.  He puts the ball where the receiver is in perfect position to keep running.  

I hope this continues. Would be great if we had a quality backup with trade potential in the future.

Hopefully he's our best QB not named Cam. That was the intention when we drafted him in the 3rd.

Jimmy Clausen almost beat Cam out in preseason as well. Remember that. Grier is the Claw...Clausen.

I'd hope he looks better than a couple of undrafted players, granted those undrafted players have NFL starting experience

Jimmy Clausen was a place holder for Cam his rookie year.  It was pretty much preordained that Cam would be the starter.  They just wanted him to go through the motions of earning it.
