Video: Gaulden and the Peanut Punch

Can I just say how impressive the Peanut Punch is in general? People might not appreciate how difficult that is when you see it in slow-mo. But that's a moving target, about the size of a grapefruit, wrapped up in the arms of a 200+ pound guy who's bearing down on you. Not to mention you can't throw a straight punch, but rather you gotta kinda squat and throw a semi-sorta-kidney-shot-upper-cut to get under his shoulder pads and above his forearm. And then not just find the target, but land that punch on a round object with enough force to knock it free.  That's something not many UFC fighters could do.

And to see it executed that perfectly, it makes me swell up a bit. Ain't lyin. That changed my way of thinking about Gaulden. He's been meh all training camp, but if that's how he plays in an actual game situation, that's a guy I'd like to see on the field more.

The thing about Gaulden is that’s why we drafted him he’s a player a play making dog with good nb coverage and a turnover waiting to happen from punches to rips to picks he just tested like one of the huddlers behind the keyboard but when you pop on his tape it’s like he’s the best player on the field at Tenn last night looked like that tape I’ve seen of him at Tenn.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
