This one throw from Allen.

First off, props to Ellis for finding this.  I loved this throw during the game.  I have been cautiously optimistic about Allen. This was the first time since the Cardinals game I saw something special.  This is a big time throw.

I’m not saying he is the next HOF. But I love this throw with pressure in his face, the timing, and the touch. On 3rd and 13.

 Well done young man.

He’s definitely shown a lot more than the typical captain checkdown backup that goes in and wins by just being a game manager(looking at you Teddy) and that throw is a perfect example.

He also has a really long way to go to prove he can be a long term starter.

I find myself going back and forth on like every other play on what I think we should do at QB.

I don't mean to be that guy, but when was the last time Cam made that throw? 2017?

I don't know, Cam's deep ball was pretty putrid in 2017 outside of that playoff game.  Even in 2018 before the Watt hit, when he was having that statistically great start, his deep ball looked very off.

I think you'd have to go back to 2016 pre shoulder injury to see Cam making those kind of throws... and damn that makes me sad.  Dude used to routinely make those throws and throw straight LASERS that distance.

Was his best throw. Made a couple really nice throws yesterday. His arm and ability to make all the NFL type throws has never been questioned.

I wish he could have that deep ball to Samuel back. I have no idea why everyone has such a tough time connecting with Samuel deep. He has an extra gear that if you just led him, he’d go get it

    • To the last part. Evero sucks at generating pressure unless he’s going up against a beat up OL like the Jets. However.. he does do a good job of having the DL/LBs contain. Hes even mentioned that’s part of the reason that they struggle to rush the QBs because he doesn’t want guys moving out of containment.
    • If there was ever a game to get behind that offensive line and the run the rock with Rico it's this game.   Only one team has been worst than Buffalo at stopping the run this season and that's Miami and we saw what happened in that game with Dowdle. Buffalo of course has one of the most dynamic offenses so the more time we can keep that offense off the field the better sustaining drives will be crucial. Atlanta had their way with Buffalo in their last game that scire could have easily been 28-7 at the half. With that said with an improved vertical passing attack and emphasis on the run game Carolina pulls the upset 24-17
    • This sounds just like a lot of Panthers fan during Bryce's rookie year
