This would obviously take a crazy trade up package, and I'm fairly certain Person knows that. I don't think he's throwing this out there as a realistic option.

But with that said, there's a lot of speculation that this next draft is Marty Hurney's last and expectations for the 2020 season are low anyway.

I think paying market price to move up to #1 in the draft from within the top 10 for a player you feel is a sure bet is the best allocation of trade assets you can make as an NFL team

Not gonna lie. I like what I see of the kid. It would take a king's ransom though, and I generally don't believe in giving up that amount of gold.

Yep you make that trade. 

If you think Burrow’s is the next great QB then the draft capital being traded away is worth it. You could easily spend the next 5 years (or more) and a lot more picks searching for that guy anyways. 

Any other position I’d say no but for a QB? Yes.

It would take Cam and multiple first round picks. I don't see how we could do it.

Probably only scenario anyone can fully sale me on moving on from a healthy cam.

with that being said everyone on the roster would be up for grabs except cmc and Moore, that’s right just those two. I’d also send this years 1st and next years 1st and 2nd.

It's going to take Cam, 2020 1st, 2021 1st, 2022 2nd.  

 

I wouldn't hate us doing it, but think it'd be smarter to just tank next year and get one of the top QBs.  You can't win it all behind just a QB.

The man sure as heck isn't shy about spending money. Would he balk at spending draft capital?

For the record, Burrow reminds of Joe Montana.... legit. His poise, pocket presence, ability to make all throws and the additional ability to move around.

Also for the record, I don't think we move up for Burrow, but if we were to, here's what the Rams gave up to move from pick 15, to the 1st overall for Goff.......Burrow is light years ahead of what Goff was at Cal.

TLDR:

Rams trade:  First round pick (15th overall), two second rounders (picks 43 & 45), third round pick (76 overall)+ next year's 1st and 3rd round picks

Titans trade: 1st overall pick, fourth rounder (113 overall) and a sixth rounder (177 overall)

I cant see them trading that pick unless its something amazing.  Like our whole draft and next years first.
