does anyone here trust marty hurney with the rebuild

This poll reminds me of the day Steve Jobs announces publicly that he had cancer. CNBC was getting reactions from various members of the business community and the anchor went to Larry Ellison, the CEO of oracle and a man not exactly known to mince words.

”Larry what do you think this news means for Apple’s future?”

”We’ve already seen Apple without Steve Jobs.”

Its not like there is no track record on Hurney for us to set expectations by past failures.

He's a pro at drafting All-Pros in the 1st round.

Free agency? He's so-so

2nd rounders? HELL no.

Rebuilding the team back up? It's a toss up.

I just don't see how David Tepper, with his love of analytics, has not analyzed Hurney's drafts. In a rebuild situation, you must draft well. This has potential to be really bad if we get another year or two of Hurney drafts.

Marty is like a crotch fungus.  You think you have it under control, then it takes you down.  It goes away, and you forget how bad it was, then it comes back and you can't remember how you got rid of it the first time.   Now he is itching to prove that he can be the best fungus in the NFL, but we all know that he has us by the balls until he is no longer in the organization.

Doesn't matter what we think, matters what Tepper thinks. Seems like Tepper trusts him to do so.

i’m not holding my breath for all the ppl who told me things were going to be so much better bc we brought him back to admit that he is exactly what i told them he was this entire time
