Bradberry: Does this sound familiar?

I get it, but to be fair who among us would turn down a chance to work for a boss that'd go easier on us?

I mean, not me for sure lol. But I’m not a professional athlete where my entire job is a competition.  I hope for my team’s players to have a bit more of a competitive desire for excellence.

“He spoke to us as men.”

I wondering who he’s firing a shot at. Tepper, Hurney or the new guys.

We don't know how much all the players have spoken to our new coaches and staff and there's no history for them to be able to make comparisons (because that's what employees do) to other NFL coaches. They won't know exactly what the new staff is all about until they all get on the practice field together. Coaches and staff have to prove themselves to the players as much as the players have to prove themselves to the coaches and staff. So we're bound to hear more players talk about Rivera especially when he is the only head coach they have known. And some people just don't accept change easily. So take it with a big grain of salt, realize NFL players are human just like the rest of us, and don't disparage a player for it. This isn't Madden.

They like RR because he was one of them--he was the president of the fraternity---buddies with the veterans, not a fan of rookies.

Sure they liked him.

So what?  Treated us like men.  OK.  Did you play like men?

This does not sound like a player who wants to return to Charlotte--with the salary he wants, I'd suggest letting him test the market.

I'm not absolutely convinced he gets picked up at all.

He ran a near 4.7 40 at the combine when he was 24.  Today, he is 32.  I imagine that he has lost a step. Norman was too overrated if you ask me--he had a good year here.

Im a JBB guy, but I'll say this, the team was bad.  Super duper bad.  Without CMC we lose every game.  So to come off a 5 win season and start thumping your chest about being the best in the biz is a bit crazy to me.  Wanna play for Ron "Should-I-Call-A-Time-Out-Now-or-wait-No-Now-No-throw-the-challenge-flag-Coach-its-halftime" Rivera go for it.  You can wear Normans 24 there too.

Tired of these cats wanting money and aint won poo.

I'm not absolutely certain Norman gets cut with Rivera there. Maybe cut and re-signed.

That said, Norman isn't worth 6-8 million anymore. His play has fallen off a cliff.

Maybe...but Bradberry has never and probably wont ever be as good as Norman was full strength.  That said, neither is worth some ridiculous contract like Norman signed with Wash.  Would love Bradberry back but let him walk if he is demanding some huge deal.

No way I franchise him either.
