1) does it hurt

2) how long is recovery

3) how much is it $$$

im strongly considering.  glasses and contacts will not last in the apocalypse

1) no, it’s uncomfortable for 5-15 minutes per eye though. More liked an irritated itch than pain. LASIK is about 10-15 minutes per eye, PRK is like 5 minutes per eye.

2) lasik was a few days of having to wear shades always and liberally applying eye drops. PRK is supposedly quite a bit longer, 2 or 3 weeks I think I heard.

3) for me? Zero dollars. I’m in the military heh

the two best things about it are no more for itchy and dry eyes from wearing contacts and no more migraines from wearing glasses, which I almost never wore because of the migraines (as well as no more periods of near blindness when I have to take my contacts out).

My eyes are now like there was never anything wrong with them. Perfect vision, no maintenance or anything, no discomfort, the impact it’s had on my quality of life is almost indescribable. There are three events in my life that utterly changed everything for me forever: marriage, birth of first kid, lasik.

    • His size will always limit him.  Do t kid yourself
    • When a team has EXPECTATIONS you have to show them that your fandom and praise is EARNED.  People would be mad if the they lost two one goal competitive games like 2023 but they wouldn't have gotten booed out of the building because the effort and competitiveness would be there but to lose in THAT fashion at home with your entire top line going free lance and saying fug this yeahhh.
    • Well with back to back road games to open the season again we really can't afford a "slow start" at least not for the psyche of the fanbase that is already at rock bottom from years of losing. I think that will depend on our approach to preseason this go around. But I do agree the makings of a culture change could be big for us. At the same time we heard talk of this last year and then we got the doors blown off multiple times. I can agree with you it's best to try to maintain perspective until we get closer to the midway point of the season. The main things I want to see early on even if we aren't necessarily winning is spark and toughness from the offense and defense and at least keeping games close.
