Do you think the Cam situation will end up being similar to the Kelvin Benjamin situation?

I know it’s two totally different players and situations, but I remember a lot of people being mad when we traded KB, ironically he was coming off a great 1000 plus yard season, a lot of us wanted him back, but we traded him and now look what happened. Where is KB now? Do you honestly and truly think if Tepper, the staff and Hurney thought cam could at least be half of his 2015 self, that they would have let him walk? Come on now lol.

We let Kelvin go because everyone on the inside knew way more than we did, they knew he was done and had to let him go. If I remember, everyone on here was saying KB would go on to be a stud with another team with a better QB.

Your memory is horrible. Not that many were mad he was traded, and then the complaint was that it left us with no WRs, not so much that we were losing a good one. And literally no one but KB himself said anything about him doing better with a Buffalo QB than Cam.

People who somehow thinking Cam Newton has anything left in the tank is the sad part. People like me for years begged for Cam to get protection, not take the hits, and not be the battering Ram at the goal line. We all knew that type of punishment wasn't sustainable and we only had a few years till things got bad. Well let's just say both JR and Rivera really didn't care.

    • Very true. I just think in a situation like this, even if the HC is a problem, firing him this early in your #1 overall pick's career is going to end up doing more harm than good.   If you wanted a head start on other HC searches, that's fine, but fire him in Week 14 or something to accomplish that.  Continuity, even with questionable coaching decisions, is better for a rookie than making this change and now having even worse coaches in charge of his development.
    • Yea it is crazy the change in inside linebacker play the past two weeks.
    • This one isn't me complaining, it's pointing out that we still missed an opportunity, I see them as very different things. I gave the players and coaches their props yesterday, I enjoyed watching that game and enjoying the win.  But those things don't mean that I'm not going to ask questions when I see a stat like this and realize that even in a good win that I was happy with, there were still missed opportunities to help improve our players.
