Do We Still Hate Hurney?

I think Hurney’s signing look good this year.  Is part of it due to not having Ron and Jerry whispering in his ear?  Yes.  Is part of it having Tepper and Rhule whispering in his ear? Most definitely Yes.  
 

I dont think Marty is great but he isnt as bad as we make him appear. That said, I don’t hate him but believe We could do better and get a higher caliber GM.

Hurney as a drafter = fine for the most part (outside of his trading up in the draft to draft some scrub)

Hurney as a GM = terrible. I think Rhule had a big say in most of the FAs we got

 

There are worse GMs than Hurney, but there are many that are better

HIs role has been greatly diminished. Basically just a little more than a college scout now.

I’ve always liked that you can count on him to hit in the first I also really appreciate his last couple drafts I’m a fan but I understand why some are not
