If you leave the Panthers bubble many people would realize Hurney isn't as bad as everyone makes him out to be.

Found guys like Hardy, Munnerlyn and Josh. And wow wouldn't you know it looks like his picks are developing under a competent coaching staff.

Way, way, waaaaay worse GMs out there.

C’mon, Anderson played for Rhule. Marty just got the paperwork ready for Robby to sign and manned the phones during the draft.

The coaches aren’t going to have that just from college knowledge of draftees much longer so it would be good to get someone who can do better than our 2018 and 2019 drafts.

All you have to do is look at 2018 and 2019 for Hurney. That’s it. Just because the coaches look to be great and the team is playing better than the talent level doesn’t mean Marty all of a sudden got better.

I have taken lumps for defending Hurney. It is time for a change in that chair. I tend to think Hurney will be phased out, not just replaced. The question is what will that look like? Will Hurney remain with the team maybe on the scouting side?

      All I can say is... I have some happiness off the rags choking and losing to the Panthers. Hopefully the Western conference team wins the Stanley cup, but now I can be 100% uninvested in the playoffs
