i thought he did a stint with the saints or somebody too. i stand corrected

It's easy to overlook/forget about random Jets players and where they've been. LOL I can't believe how stupid they look letting him walk for the deal he got from us. Massive steal for 2 years, I just wish it was a 4+ year deal

I think Rhule had an opportunity to grab a guy he had success with at Temple.  Anderson was solid on a lousy NYJ team.

IMO about the only thing Ginn and Anderson have in common is speed.  Anderson is by far a better pass catcher.

It wasn’t just an opportunity. I think Anderson wanted to come play for Rhule, period. I remember listening to the way he described Rhule. We’ve seen how the players respond to him already and I don’t think Anderson was even considering anywhere else and I don’t think Rhule would have let him sign elsewhere.

I hope that Rhule can build this sort of thing with current NFL players and we can b ecome the kind of place FAs *want* to come to.

hard not to notice the comparisons. shifty, speedy guy, didn't do a whole lot and bounced around from team to team in the pros.

gets picked up by the panthers as an option guy and suddenly looks the part of a WR1. constantly open and catching everything that comes his way. his one-handed sideline grab was jaw dropping and the way he beats coverage on those drags and crossers is exactly how ginn dismantled defenses during his time here.

perhaps the best pickup we could've possibly made in the offseason. he may be here for a while.

Anderson was/is a way better receiver than Ginn. I have been trying to tell people even before the first game. Anderson showed enough flashes a couple of seasons ago to indicate that he was a star in waiting. You're doing him a disservice by comparing him to Ginn. He was always more than a one-trick pony! The Jets just suck and never explored his talent as efficiently as they should have. I have watched him closely going on three years now.
