The failed fake punt may have gotten even better ones. LOL!

Just line up and go for it.  Fake punts are suppose to have a surprise element.   They are trotting them out every week now.

Wasn't Rhule praising players during the offseason just for them to be cut a couple days later? Hopefully that's the case here:Eyes_Emoji_42x42:

I remember this being the kiss of death. Hopefully the nail in the coffin for his tenure at MLB in Carolina.

Yeah that was bad.  As fun as they've been, that was really bad.  And even worse, they even said earlier in the broadcast that the Bucs were calling out "it's a fake!" from like the first punt on, so even if they didn't set up a punt man coverage, the players were still looking for it as the game went on.  Rhule said in his presser today that the route was designed for Chinn to the flat and a guy completely blew him up and took him out of the play.

But on the flipside, I understand going for it, no matter how you go about it, because our defense sucks.

One of the things I like about Bruce Arians is that is probably exactly what he would've said. LOL!

It'd be better if he could back it up and earned the right to throw his players under the bus (which he does A LOT). He's not a great coach and consistently blames his players and never takes responsibility for his own mistakes, of which there are many. Honestly, the guy got outcoached by Rivera on numerous occasions...

What is he supposed to say? "He played like poo?" So many of you don't understand coach speak and it baffles me

Not so sure about that, he called out TB for taking bad sacks, he called out Derrick Brown for poor penalties. We gave him credit for calling out individual players for poor performance before in the past, why would he have reason to defend Whitehead?

We all need to realize that coaches in a press conference do not show their cards.

If people's noses grew when they lied, coaches could be used for yardsticks after press conferences.

Politicians, on the other hand, would be on the sidelines ready to be used to measure for first downs.
