Carolina Panthers to hire Scott Fitterer as GM

Mr. Scot

I think after Peters as far as compatibility goes that this makes sense:

He's from the Seahawks, who have been a strong advocate for analytics. You don't have the co-founder of Microsoft as an owner and not have those techniques involved. There is a link someone posted with that, forget where.

And Rhule because he's worked with a head coach who was heavily involved that had a good collaborative relationship with the GM.

Logically, it seems they both got what they wanted.

I'm just happy it's over and look forward to the press conference.

I come here daily to laugh at most of the serious posters. You don't know any of the guys, how interviews went or what their actual job interactions are, but can say with all seriousness that this guy is or is not a good fit. Frankly, no one knows. Three years from now, after a series of drafts, trades and free agent acquisitions, we will figure it out. Until your next post, get back to managing your potato chip racks

Pretty sure his is a Capricorn and Rhule is a Gemini.

So there is that.

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
