I am not sure what the Panthers offered Dwayne Haskins but my guess is that it wasn't a lot. I am relieved he didn't sign with us.

Makes sense with Ben possibly hanging them up, he has a clear path to be the starter. With any of the 3 possible options we have (Teddy,Watson, draft Wilson/Fields), he'd more than likely be on the bench.

I just read this: Haskins worked hard but not smart  

Take it for what it is worth, but if the story about him throwing to the receiver making the pick instead of the receiver getting free because of it is true, I'm not sure what you do with that.

I'm glad we offered a contract. As a fan, it shows that we are serious at wanting to better the roster. Also glad that Haskins is getting a second chance and hopefully he turns it around.

I've not seen anything reported other than it likely being for the veteran minimum with no signing bonus...
