I Don't care who we get to play qb its not going to matter one single solitary bit unless and until we fix that very very lackluster and substandard offensive line and secondary...you could have a five star type player play qb for us and if that offensive line and secondary aren't top flight its not going to matter one bit ...

Good point. A-Rod is an elite QB statistically, but he always seems to fall short in the playoffs. How come? The Packers are weak in other areas (secondary/pass rush) and it becomes quite apparent in big games. Russel Wilson can't seem to make it back to the big game either...for pretty much the same reason. I'd rather see us solidify are roster with theses high draft choices. I don't think we need to reach for any of these guys after Lawrence. If we don't get one in the first round, there's always next year and even later in this draft.

Even if they don't, he doesn't have pick 2 or 3 being a QB, which I don't see happening.  So either way there is a good chance three QBs will be off the board by pick 8, and all 4 being gone is a very real possibility also.

I agree that pending any major splash by us, we're looking at Trey Lance or Matt Stafford.  I prefer Lance.

6. Load up elsewhere this year/not worth an oversell (OT, OG, C, MLB, TE, CB, DT)

      Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.

      Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy

      Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
