if it’s not good enough then that’s not the answer. Even what we had this past year is good enough for now. I’m pretty confident we can at least replicate that.

Why not build a team then trade for a QB or draft one in 2021? If the draft doesn't fall in our favor for a QB so what? Get players that can make it easier on a QB.

I just don't like trades like that unless it's a generational talent. Fields is a good QB and if we didn't win that Washington game I would definitely wanted him but the price is too high and we need picks.

If that’s who Rhule and Fits want, then it’s worth the price. A franchise QB is clearly worth those picks. However, if they are taking more or a shot in the dark, it would be a really stupid move.

We will be picking high without a franchise QB. That I can promise you. As good as CMC is or anyone else in the first round... they aren’t going to turn a franchise around like a QB will.

Devil's advocate here:  First-round-draft picks might be the most overvalued "thing" in the NFL.  Rhule/Fitt think they have their franchise QB, then worth it.

Wins when you're still in contention aren't bad. When we were 3-2 you're thinking... hmmm, we might be onto something here. That's a lot different than being 4-10.

No way I would trade up for a QB in this draft.  Lawrence is about the only one that is pretty much got it all.

The rest have a lot of "ifs" about them.  No way you mortgage it all for what it would take to get someone who has the potential to bust.

I think the QB talk is just that.  Lance should be there at 8, maybe even Fields
