First up, Eagles writer Jeff McLane explains where the holdup on the trade appears to be.

Makes sense. Like the Lions with Stafford, they're trying to accommodate him, but they don't have to. Thus, unless the Colts up their offer, he remains in limbo, and likely a Bear.

One fan asked if there was any chance of him not being traded. McLane answered he thinks "that ship has sailed".

Then another asked whether the Panthers might be a potential destination.

Back in, apparently indicating there was a time when we were in, but now we're out.

I'm guessing we weren't offering much if anything, but it's interesting nonetheless to think that we inquired.

My Eagles fan friend is super down with a Chicago trade. What he heard was Foles, Mack, and their first. That seems insane for Wentz and a no brainer. Though could just be standard speculation.

I mean, Fitts said we'd be in on every deal. It never hurts to call and check the temperature. Honestly, that may have been done before we really even did our homework on Wentz and fully broke down his tape from last season. Why bother if you know the price tag is more than you're willing to pay?

They should be using a draft pick to unload that contract. We should have offered Teddy and asked for a 3rd. 

The Bears going from the terrible T to the ruined W is just fun to watch. A parade of broken dreams if you will.

The top offer made for Wentz was two 2nds and a possible future 3rd or 4th by the colts. Anything else out there is being drummed up by the eagles to try to increase his price. No way the bears send mack, foles, and a 1st for a broken Wentz.

I think all they really care about is Foles and some kind of pick.
