Family reported and missing while he was checked into a hotel?

Yeah, this story has "bad things" written all over it.

Shame. I remember him as a player. He was good.

Whats strange is they didn’t report him missing until last week. He’d been there for over a month

As a recovering addict and alcoholic I can speak from experience in saying that getting a hotel room and going on benders so family doesn’t see you like that is very common for that lifestyle. Not saying that’s what happened to him, just saying that it’s what it sounds like to me. RIP to him, he seems like he was a great man.

He wrote children's books.

During his five seasons with our franchise, Vincent was a consummate professional, who took a great deal of pride in his performance on and off the field. Vincent was a dedicated father, husband, businessman and philanthropist, who made a deep impact on our community through his unyielding advocacy for military families."

Jackson had written "Danny DogTags" children's books, dealing with common issues for children in military families.
