Well, Jackson did win the Heismann. Mond has been a JAG his entire career.

Jackson's athleticism is off the charts, his passing accuracy is the big issue that will determine his NFL success going forward. The jury is still out on him.

Well his short term record is fairly accurate. Maybe we are all reading into the hype. Mac Jones could be like a Tom Brady or Eli Manning. Trey Lance hasn't shown enough over time. Everybody can have a great year (Mac Jones too). Maybe we can drop down and still get a good QB?

I mean, it looks like he goes against the grain just for the sake of going against the grain.

I'm sure not everybody wants to make these lists to begin with. People take them too seriously and making yet another copy of the same list does nothing to accomplish the goal of making these lists.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
