Taylor Moton “tag likely”

something to keep in mind.  Let's say we end up drafting a QB and now we have all this cap room.  We can afford to spend big on a long term Left Tackle.  But do we really want to sink so much in both positions?  30 to 35 million a year on LT and RT?

We could do it with a QB on a rookie contract.

I could be talked into it.  It gives us 4 years to get someone else on the roster.  Speeds up the rebuild to win now pretty fast.  But it might be a good idea to tag Moton, sign the left tackle long term, and then draft RT this year or early next for a strong affordable line long term.

Yes. Paying 2 quality olineman money is not a bad thing and Paradis will be gone after next year.

Other than QB oline and dline are most important.

I know in Panther land it’s the norm to pay LBs, RBs, and washed up olineman but in reality those positions are not as important.

Has this team paid any quality long term olineman since gross and R Kalil left? I can’t remember any. Maybe Williams 1 year deal for 8m. Maybe Paradis who has sucked for one year and average last year. Turner? Until he was traded.

Wish this team would stop trying to squeeze by with the oline year after year it just doesn’t work. And the evaluations they’ve had on olineman have been awful.

    • LaMelo to Brooklyn for Nic Claxton, Drake Powell, and a pick.  Who says no?
    • Appreciate you, brother!  I know it was lengthy, but I felt whoever actually read it would appreciate it.
    • Damn good take, brother.  I think I take that poo personally because (sidebar: I don’t like to use narcissist often because social media has made it a buzzword and diluted the meaning, so when I use it, I don’t take it lightly) I grew up in a home with a raging narcissist, then married a narcissist and just came out of a divorce after a 20 year marriage with her, where afterwards she met and married another narcissist.🤣  And in my dealings with them, over my 41 years on this earth, at times I took great delight in breaking down their arguments point by point and forcing them to either acknowledge their wrongs and take ownership of them or watch them yammer and stammer away when they ran out of lies and excuses.  At various points, that was extremely satisfying, but ultimately, which I’ve realized especially after the last 3 years and going through the divorce and everything, it does NOTHING to them.  It doesn’t affect them one way or another.  For a logical, reasonable, grounded person, you would think calling them in their poo will bring it to their attention when they’re face when nothing but facts and truth and force them to change, but nope.  Not in the slightest.  They just disassociate from the ones who do that and find more people who will validate their behaviors and thinking.  poo pisses me off because they’re so destructive and couldn’t care less so long as their needs are met.
