Did you see KC's OL in the SB? Running out of healthy OL is why they couldn't compete in that game. I have to think there's no way they're parting with an OL right now who they think can help them moving forward.

Pass.

I think they would love to have both tackles back .. but they cap strapped and they both did not make it to the big game .... saves them 18 mill in cap space .. expect a lot more players to be released soon ... we need more cap space !!!!!!

Fisher probably isn't playing at all this year coming off of a recently torn Achilles and it's far from a guarantee that he'll ever return to form afterward. That's a MAJOR injury.

I’d kick the tires on Fisher for the min.. but I’d pay close to market for  Mitchell Schwartz for a year or 2 if it made sense $$$ money wise .. which right now it doesn’t ... but next year we will have a lot of cap room !

They have Remmers.  They can afford to lose a T.

Seriously--these big names that get released are fool's gold.  The free agents that pay off are those who were stuck behind great starters or playing out of position or in a bad system, etc.  Jake Delhomme, for example.  Coleman comes to mind.  etc.

Lemme think... an old veteran OT who just tore his achilles and has basically zero chance of playing next year. This definitely reminds me of someone’s free agency strategy lmao.

I’m concerned hurny has infiltrated the huddle

I am fairly sure the OP and others were not aware of the injury, which is why I did not pile on.

He’s been very reliable for the most part, only missing 15 games over an 8 year career (8 of those being in 2019).  It has been rumored for a month that he was going to be a cap casualty.  Chiefs have a lot of work to do to get under the cap.

He’s a least worth a look
