Deshaun just needs to get massages from fat dudes from now on. You hire a hot girl to start massaging you and you're gonna make some bad decisions.  You're going to get a boner and then you take a chance and then it costs you millions.

his sponsors are not assuming that he's guilty at this point in time since in FACT none of them to my knowledge have ended their relationship with Watson as a result of these allegations

Not if he's guilty.

Verge, can we afford to wait until after the draft for Watson, or will we be aggressive for a QB in the draft if they don't trade Watson till after the draft/next year?

I imagine we would attack QB in the draft. Can't afford a wait and see strategy for a QB.

It's only been 4-days since the news hit...

...you predicting all of DW's sponsors will stay put?

It's definitely odd that sponsors aren't bailing left and right and teams are being reported as still interested. The timing of all this always stunk to high heavens. The lawyer having in the past claimed connections to the McNairs always stunk to high heavens. On the flip side, well over a dozen accusers also stinks to high heavens the other direction. Very weird situation and I have no idea what to make of it.

    • Short version = these people have had those seats since the beginning and haven't missed a game. They have always had their sign. They had to change the sign - I think in 2015 when Cam ripped that Packers fan's banner down (love him for that, by the way) - to be compliant and haven't had any issues in the last 10 years. The Panthers even used a photo of them and their sign in their album from the Falcons game. In the 3rd quarter last weekend it was decided that the sign needed to come down. Seems weird and unnecessary, especially since it has been there for every game for a decade.   Also "cringe" is a funny word for someone over the age of 18 who lives and overshares on the Huddle. But, ok....
    • Just watched those buc Hawks highlights and good lord....both of them were slinging the ball around. Its definitely a talent issue, I dont know how anybody thinks bryce is just gonna go to another team and start doing that.
    • Thielen was traded away right before our season started. Coker got hurt right before our season started. Renfrow, a player that hasn't played in a while went from cut to being thrust onto the field. Moore, the one vet we did keep, is currently out. Bad things seem to happen trying to throw to XL. Oh, and Tremble was out for a few weeks while Sanders is currently out himself.  Simply starting the fact that we can't even keep a #2 on the field. You're hoping one of the many rookies pulls off a Coker and starts having consistent production.
