It bothers me when people reference Robby and not DJ Moore. I get the NYJ connection, but DJ Moore is a #1 WR in this league.

me too, given DJ is clearly a much better overall WR.

Not trying to diss Robby.  Robby does some things better than anyone else on the roster.  But DJ is the total package.   And gets no national respect.

DJ hasn't proven that he's the much better receiver overall. Until he does, he's right there in the same class as Anderson. And, look, I'm not saying that he isn't a more talented receiver in theory, but he's got to turn the corner this season with route running, putting himself in scoring positions and sticking the catch (and maybe even blocking).

DJ with weak QB play the past 2 seasons, is the only player in the NFL to post consecutive 1100+ yard seasons.

Those two seasons are coming off his rookie year where he lead all NFL WRs in yards after contact.

Our O-line was largely on the low end of middle of the road. It needs to be top 10. We already know that Moton is one of the best in the league. Paradis improved this season to slightly above average, and would likely continue to improve with better interior linemen. Adding Sewell or Slater would be a benefit, but I don't think we'll be any worse than last year with the added depth.

    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
    • Cos he looks much better?
